Gymnasium Advertising

The Holy Cross Athletic Association is made up of 4 individuals, 2 representatives from Lonsdale, one each from New Market and Veseli. The first meeting of the Athletic Association was held in November of 1970 and has continued with the same goal, to financially support and provide athletic programs for the students.

Budget needs are met through annual fundraisers - a ham & egg breakfast in the fall and spring and the 250 Dance for all families. Students are also charged participation fees.

Sports offered to students at Holy Cross School are: volleyball, basketball, softball and baseball. In May, athletes are honored at an award banquet. To receive a trophy, students must participate in one sport in both 7th and 8th grade. All graduating athletes are recognized with a certificate.
