Holy Cross Catholic School
Growing Hearts . . . Growing Minds

  • Athletic Association
The Holy Cross Athletic Association is made up of 7 parent representatives and the Athletic Director, Mr. Tom Kalina. The first meeting of the Athletic Association was held in November of 1970 and has continued with the same goal, to financially support and provide athletic programs for the students.

Budget needs are met through annual fundraisers: a pancake breakfast in the winter and the Summer Kickoff Dance in May. Students are also charged minimal participation fees.

Sports offered to students at Holy Cross School are: volleyball, basketball, softball and baseball. In May, athletes are honored at an awards banquet. To receive a trophy, students must participate in one sport in both 7th and 8th grade. All graduating athletes are recognized with a certificate.

This program is on Saturday mornings with grades 1 & 2 from 8-9am and grades 3 & 4 from 9-10:30am. Registration forms are sent home in September and January of each year. This program is lead by a group of parent volunteers.

Middle School students also participate in the public school football and soccer programs in the fall. Below you will find links to the schedules for each activity.

Students are bussed to away games, but it is the responsibility of parents to bring the students home from the away games.
